Obituary for Elaine Willetts
ELAINE WILLETTS, 89, of Prophetstown, IL, died Monday, February 13, 2017 at the Prophets Riverview Good Samaritan Center in Prophetstown.Elaine was born September 19, 1927, in Kewanee, IL, to George H. and Marie E. (Egert) Hepner. She was educated in the Kewanee grade schools and was a 1945 graduate of Atkinson High School in Atkinson, IL. She married Robert J. Willetts on October 19, 1947 in Kewanee. Elaine was employed at General Electric in Morrison, IL, and she was a homemaker. She was a member of the Prophetstown United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir and belonged to the United Methodist Women. She was also active in the churchs Ad Council. Elaine enjoyed sewing.Survivors include her husband, Bob; one daughter, Dawn Willetts of Prophetstown, IL; one son, Mark Willetts of Sarasota, FL; four grandchildren, Christopher Maloof, Lyndsey Maloof, Jodi (Billy) Alligood, Aaron (Jennifer) Maloof; eight great grandchildren; one brother, Wendell (Gloria) Hepner of Hot Springs, AR; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Alice Hepner of Prophetstown, IL.She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Jeanette Hepner; one brother, Delbert E. Hepner.
