Obituary for Elaine J. Leeper
Elaine J. Leeper, 74, of 22760 282nd Avenue, LeClaire, IA died Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at Genesis East Medical Center - Davenport, IA Elaine was born on February 3, 1933 in Chicago, IL to Andrew and Jennie (DeYoung) Borgman. She was educated in the D.S.Wentworth Grade School and Chicago Christian High School both in Chicago, IL. Elaine married Loran A. Leeper on November 24, 1962 in Fulton. She was employed with General Electric Company in Morrison, IL for many years. Elaine was currently a member of Trinity Reformed Church. She was a homemaker and had enjoyed being a Brownie leader and a member of Harding School PTA in Clinton, IA. More recently, Elaine was a member of the Tag-A-Long Trailer Club and a die-hard Cubs fan. Survivors include three daughters, Susan (Mrs. Scott) Keegan of Clinton, IA, Cheryl (Mrs. Jim) Koele of Urbandale, IA and Lori (Mrs. John) Carter of Katy, TX; one son, Jim Leeper of Grimes, IA; seven grandchildren, Andrew, Heather, Allison and Elizabeth Keegan; Jonathan, Steven and Katherine Koele; two brothers, Robert (Nancy) Borgman of Storm Lake, IA and Andy (Marguerite) Borgman of Crofton, MD. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loran.
