Obituary for Donna Jean Van Zuiden
DONNA JEAN VAN ZUIDEN, 83, of Portland OR; formerly of Fulton IL, passed away peacefully on
Thursday, December 15, 2022 at St. Andrews Memory Care in Portland.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Interment will be in Calvary Hill Cemetery in Fulton.
Donna was born on September 24, 1939 in Clinton, IA to Alvin and Anna (Noordt) Medema. She
was a 1957 graduate of Fulton High School. She married Harvey Van Zuiden in June 1957 at First Reformed Church in Fulton; they were later divorced. She worked as a receptionist for many years, at Trichardt Chiropractic in Fulton IL and Community Mental Health Services in Clinton IA. She then worked in the Clinton High School cafeteria.
Survivors include one daughter, Stephanie Van Zuiden of Portland,OR ; grandchildren, Noah and Sarah Brown, both of Portland, OR; one sister, Carol Parker of San Diego, CA; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Christopher Van Zuiden.
