Obituary for Donna J. Groh
DONNA J. GROH, 66, of 516 8th Avenue, Fulton, IL, died Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at her home. Donna was born April 20, 1944 in Geneseo, IL, to Milo and Naomi (Johnson) Utter. She was educated in the Garden Plain School of rural Whiteside County and attended Fulton High School. Donna married Leon H. Groh on August 25, 1961 in Fulton. She was employed by Central Bank in Fulton for 25 years. She was a member of the Second Reformed Church in Fulton and the church"s Coffee Break and Bible Study groups. Donna enjoyed flowers, reading, collecting cookbooks and antiques. She also enjoyed the company of her friends and family, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Leon; two daughters, Laura (Bill) Eads and Lisa (Mark) Peska both of Fulton, IL; seven grandchildren, Sarah Eads, Aaron (Jane) Eads, Katie (Brent) Warren, Hannah Eads, Ryan (Kristy) Peska, Kara Peska, and Erika Peska; six great grandchildren, Caydence and Marik Eads; Nadia, Aryanna, and Jayda Peska, and Brycen Peska; one sister, Suzan (Don) Huebner of Albany, IL. She was preceded in death by her father, Milo Utter; her mother, Naomi Riceman, her step father, Don Riceman, and one great grandchild.
