Obituary for Diann L. Landheer
DIANN L. LANDHEER, 62, of 302 S. Base Street, Morrison, IL, died Monday, October 22, 2012, at the VA Medical Center, Iowa City, IA. Diann was born January 6, 1950, in Sterling, IL, to Donald J. and Alva Mae (Shook) McFadden. She was educated in the Rock Falls Grade School and was a graduate of Rock Falls High School in Rock Falls, IL. She attended Sauk Valley Community College in Dixon, IL. Diann served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. She married Gary F. Landheer on October 3, 1980, in Dixon, IL. Survivors include her husband, Gary; two sons, Patric (Daveena) Williams of Dixon, IL and Sam McPeak of Dixon, IL; two stepdaughters, Andrea Landheer of Phoenix, AZ and Jamie Landheer of Phoenix, AZ; eight grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five sisters, Liola (Raymond) Pitts; Jane "Genie" Koster; Donna (Ken) Scott; Rhonda McFadden; and Lynn Roslyn Frasu. She was preceded in death by one son, Robert J. McPeak, III; one daughter, Carrie Williams; two sisters, Eileen Mitchell and Patti Jo Ransom; five brothers, Dean, Dale, Bob, and Alvin Hinrichs and Donald McFadden.
