Obituary for Dennis D. Bramm
DENNIS D. BRAMM, 69, of Lyndon, IL, died Thursday, April 23, 2015, at CGH Medical Center in Sterling, IL. Dennis was born August 2, 1945, in Morrison, IL, to Emmett F. and Tracy M. (Peska) Bramm. He was educated in the Morrison Grade Schools and was a 1963 graduate of Morrison High School. Dennis served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He married Carolyn J. Stern on August 3, 1968, in Morrison, IL. Dennis was employed for 37 years by General Electric in Morrison, IL, retiring in 2000. He was also employed as an Emergency Medical Technician for the Prophetstown Ambulance Service. Dennis was a member of the Lyndon Fire Department in Lyndon, IL for 26 years and also a member of the American Legion. Dennis enjoyed riding his BMW motorcycle, helping his cousin with farming, fishing, camping, baking bread, and spending time with his grand dog, "Claire". Survivors include his wife, Carolyn; one daughter, Amy (Russell) Noble of Sycamore, IL; one sister, Cynthia (George) Weaver of Mt. Morris, IL; two brothers, Jeffry (Denise) Bramm of Morrison, IL and Douglas (Ellen) Bramm of Mt. Morris, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Fredric Bramm.
