Obituary for David M. Champion
DAVID M. CHAMPION, 62, of Davenport, IA, died Saturday, March 23, 2019, at Genesis East Medical Center in Davenport.
There will be no funeral or visitation. Cremation rites have been accorded. The Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A memorial has been established.
David was born November 26, 1956, in Clinton, IA, to John H. and Carrie M. (Watts) Champion. He was an auto mechanic working at various auto shops. David was an avid fisherman.
Survivors include three sisters, Janice (Robert) Stevens of Umatilla, FL; Barbara (Sherwood) Elliott and Debra Shepard both of Clinton, IA; two brothers, John A. (Jolene) Champion of Fulton, IL and James C. Champion of Umatilla, FL.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Lanice Ann Champion in infancy and Catherine L. McCullough; two brothers, Alton H. and Larry Champion.
