Obituary for Daniel E. Huff
DANIEL E. HUFF, 53, of 17402 Chase Road, Fulton, IL, died Sunday, January 22, 2006 at Mercy Medical Center in Clinton, IA. Daniel was born November 6, 1952, in Clinton, IA, to Arthur D. and Fanny (Koenes) Huff. He was educated in the Fulton Grade Schools and was a 1970 graduate of Fulton High School. He married Wanda S. Deelsnyder on June 22, 1973 in Fulton. He was employed with International Paper in Clinton, IA for 33 years as a supervisor, and then was employed by Clinton Feed and Grain. Daniel was an 18 year veteran of the Fulton Fire Department and currently served as trustee for the Fulton Fire Protection District. He was a member of the Riverbend School Athletic Boosters; and his hobbies included drag racing and golf. Survivors include his wife, Wanda; two daughters, Angela (Mrs. Steven) Frederick of Fulton, IL and Jessica (Mrs. Christopher) Meggenberg of Clinton, IA; two sons, Taylor and Cody Huff, both at home; three grandchildren, Ian and Livie Frederick, Madison Meggenberg; his mother, Mrs. Fanny Huff of Fulton, IL; three sisters, Bonnie (Mrs. Edward) Haring of Elizabeth, IL, Kathy (Mrs. Vernon) Vanderlaan of Sterling, IL and Luann (Mrs. Keith) Morine of Fulton, IL; one brother, Keith (Ann) Huff of Fulton, IL. He was preceded in death by his father.
