Obituary for Dale E. Piercy
DALE E. PIERCY, 54, of Fulton, IL, died Saturday, October 19, 2013. Dale was born December 10, 1958, in Taylorville, IL, to John W. and Shirley J. (Babbs) Piercy. He was educated in the Fulton Grade Schools and was a graduate of Fulton High School in Fulton, IL. He received a bachelor"s degree from Hamilton Technical School in Davenport, IA. Dale was employed for the past 20 years as an electrician for various local companies. Most recently, he was employed as a machine operator for Metal-Tech Manufacturing in Clinton, IA. Dale enjoyed golfing, participating in fantasy sports leagues and was a NASCAR fan and dog lover. He also enjoyed cooking and grilling. Survivors include one son, Aaron Piercy of Marana, AZ; his mother, Shirley Piercy of Fulton, IL; three sisters, Debra (Doug) Pell, Barb (Bob) Coffey, and Tami (Jeff) Zachman all of Fulton, IL; five brothers, Steve (Angie) Piercy of Morrison, IL, Dan (Diane) Piercy of Thomson, IL, Randy Piercy of Fulton, IL, Greg (Jen) Piercy of Chandler, AZ, and Chad (Monica) Piercy of Fulton, IL. He was preceded in death by his father, John.
