Obituary for Craig E. Domdey
CRAIG E. DOMDEY, 53, of Clinton, IA, died Thursday, June 19, 2014, at his home. Craig was born January 10, 1961, in Morrison, IL, to Donald L. and Barbara J. (Temple) Domdey. He was educated in the Morrison Grade Schools and was a 1979 graduate of Morrison High School. Craig married Treva A. Nutt on May 22, 1982, in Morrison, IL. He was employed as a certified welder for Lewis Brothers Industrial Services in Muscatine, IA. Craig enjoyed woodworking, playing his guitar, and was a talented welder. He was an animal lover, kept many pets, and was a skilled animal trainer. Survivors include two daughters, Ashley Domdey of Camanche, IA and Danelle Domdey of Fulton, IL; his parents, Don and Barb Domdey of Morrison, IL; two grandchildren, Noah Stratton and Isayah Stratton; one sister, Sara (Mike) Domdey-Smith of Chicago, IL; one brother, Darel Domdey of West Burlington, IA; and one niece, Olivia. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
