CORALYN M. KING, 82, of Morrison, IL, died Sunday, July 24, 2022, at Resthave Home in Morrison, IL.
Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no visitation or funeral service. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 to 5:00 PM on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Lake Erie Country Club in Erie, IL. The Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Interment will be at Grove Hill Cemetery in Morrison. A memorial has been established.
Coralyn was born May 8, 1940, in Clinton, IA, to Lloyd Everett and Lucille Catherine (Thompson) Null. She was a graduate of Morrison High School. On November 26, 1965, she married Donald “Pood” King in Morrison. He died June 23, 2022. Coralyn spent her time raising her three boys. She enjoyed golfing, bowling and was an avid bird watcher.
Survivors include three sons, Jeff (Denise) King of Peru, IL, Kevin (Melissa) King of Mt. Juliet, TN and Toby (Barb) King of Morrison; seven grandchildren, Kendra and Chelsea King, Andy (Kayla) Ellerbrock, Elyssia (Adam) Sharrow and Dalton (Tiffany) Sego, McKenna (fiancé Joey Brackemyer) King and Erika King; one great grandson, Bryce Brooker; one brother, Jody (Nancy) Null of Mount Juliet, TN.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Pood; two brothers, Jack and Jerry Null.
