Obituary for Clydye Lynn Miles
CLYDYE LYNN MILES, 75, of Lyndon, IL, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at her home.
There will be no visitation or funeral services. Cremation rites have been accorded. The Bosma-Gibson Funeral Home in Prophetstown, IL, is in charge of arrangements.
Clydye was born November 30, 1947, in Sterling, IL, to Clyde L. and Lois E. (Marsh) Miles. She was educated in the Lyndon Grade School and was a graduate of Lyndon High School. She then attended Sauk Valley Community College in Dixon, IL. Clydye was a Christ follower. She was an avid reader and enjoyed talking politics with anyone. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and friends and sitting in her garage watching the world go by.
Survivors include one daughter, Jennifer Lynn Ivey of Bells, TX; three sons, Wesley Chad Ivey of Lyndon, IL, Skeeter Allen (Jodi) Hall of Pinehurst, GA and Jeremy Lee Nunley of Lyndon, IL; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bonnie Miles and Barb (Larry) Stone both of Lyndon, IL; two brothers, Jerry (Sharon) Miles of Amboy, IL and Jeff (Karen) Miles of Lyndon, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
