CHERRY ANN SCHAVER, 53, of 5825 Avenue L., Santa Fe, TX, died Monday, November 27, 2006 at San Jacinto Methodist Hospital, Baytown, TX. Cherry Ann was born January 19, 1953 in Clinton, IA, to Percy and Joyce (Elgin) Carl. She was educated in the Thomson and Savanna, IL area grade schools and attended Savanna High School. She married Larry Schaver on December 21, 1974 in Morrison, IL. She refinished furniture and resilvered mirrors in Fulton, IL and was a member of the Gift Basket Association. Survivors include her husband, Larry; her mother, Joyce Carl of East Moline, IL; two sisters, Evelyn (Mrs. Stanley) Verkruysse of Spring Hills, IL and Tammie (Mrs. Mike) Tessendorf of Hillsdale, IL; one brother, Orville Mathis of Savanna, IL; two brother-in-laws, Donald (Lena) Schaver of Sterling, IL and Merle (Connie) Schaver of Mitchellville, IA; eighteen nieces and nephews, twenty-four great nieces and nephews; and one great great niece. She was preceded in death by her father, Percy Carl.
