Obituary for Charlotte Irene Linder
CHARLOTTE IRENE LINDER, 83, of 210 W. Wall Street, Morrison, IL, died Tuesday, January 3, 2006 at her home. Charlotte was born June 12, 1922 in Morrison to Henry and Hulda (Anderson) Nelson. She was educated in the Union Grove Grade Schools and Morrison High School. She married Harry R. Linder, Jr. on September 7, 1941 in Morrison. He died September 29, 1988. Charlotte was employed as a nurses aide at the Morrison Community Hospital for 10 years. She also managed the farming operation, in partnership, with her husband. She was a member of the Morrison United Methodist Church and the church"s United Methodist Women. Survivors include four sons, Orin (Patty) Linder of Tampa, FL; Dennis Linder of Tucson, AZ; Barry Linder of Morrison, IL; and Kent (Lori) Linder of Morrison, IL; seven grandchildren, Marta (Mrs. David) Cavanah, Anna Linder, Sven Koelker, Brian Linder, Mark Linder, David Linder, and Hannah Linder; one sister, Mrs. Alice Utech of Rockford, IL; one half sister, Mrs. Dorothy Wilkens of Tucson, AZ; and two step sisters, Mrs. Betty Marshall and Loretta (Mrs. Ora) Schipper both of Morrison, IL; a sister-in-law, Betty (Mrs. Earl) Grater of Morrison, IL and a brother-in-law, Harlan Linder of Phoenix, AZ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry; one step brother, Harold Fredericks; and a brother-in-law, Caroll Linder.
