Obituary for Charlotte Anne "Pete" Frank
Charlotte Anne “Pete” Frank, 89, of Prophetstown, IL passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023, at Allure of Prophetstown. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
A funeral service will be held at First Lutheran Church, Prophetstown, IL, on Sunday, January 15, 2023, at 11:30 am with Pastor Chelsey Weech officiating. Graveside service will be at 2:00 PM at Yorktown Cemetery in Tampico, IL. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 14, 2023, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Bosma-Gibson Funeral Home in Prophetstown, IL. Memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church of Prophetstown where she is a member.
Charlotte Anne Daniels was born on July 2, 1933, to Charles Daniels and Norma (Meinert) Daniels in Davenport Iowa as one of 11 children. She attended Moline schools. On January 2, 1952, she married Arnold William Frank in Moline IL. They lived in the Prophetstown community all of their married life and enjoyed socializing and dancing together.
Pete spent many years serving the Prophetstown community and worked for a number of local businesses, including Chuck’s Place, Prophetstown Cleaners, Flowerland, Mr. G’s Grocery and Casey’s. Her family was her top priority and she spent countless hours documenting family history. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren and enjoyed spending quality time with them.
Survivors include her devoted husband of 71 years, daughter Bonnie Segura, Sterling; son Ben (Jeanne) Frank, Prophetstown; grandsons Dustin Segura, Denver, Colorado and Jerrod (Michelle) Frank, Charlotte, Michigan and great-grandson, Archer Frank. Also surviving are Pete’s sisters, Dorothea “Babe” Jamieson, Leoria Denato, Betty Welch, Linda Bacus and Shirley Bonnett.
Pete was preceded in death by her parents, brothers James, Carl, Chuck and Jack Daniels and sisters Marilyn Bloomquist and Delores Henderson.
