Obituary for Charles E. Kerr
CHARLES E. KERR, 67, of 914 " 14th Avenue, Fulton, IL, died Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at his home. Charles was born August 25, 1940, in Clinton, IA, to Joseph D. and Mary (Enwright) Kerr. He was educated in the Fulton grade schools, and graduated from Fulton High School in 1958. In attended the University of Illinois in Champaign, IL. He was employed at Drives, Inc., Fulton, IL, from 1960 " 1968. He then worked for Morgan Design in Milwaukee, WI, returning to Drives to work from 1979 " 1990. Next he worked for the state of Michigan as a systems analyst for 9 months, and again returned to Drives, retiring in 2000. Following his retirement he worked for Hy-Vee Grocery Store in Clinton. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fulton. He was the founder and organizer of Fulton Junior Tackle Football program and served as President of the Riverbend Athletic Association for 2 years. Survivors include two daughters, Charlene Kerr of Stinnett, TX and Deborah Oldham of Amarillo, TX; one son, Michael Kerr of Fulton; four grandchildren: Antony Kerr, Bailey Kerr, Blake Oldham and Courtney Oldham; one sister, Mary Jo (Mrs. Tom) Moore of Cashton, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents.
