Obituary for Brea M. Scott (Eich)
BREA M. SCOTT (EICH), 39, of Lyndon, IL, died Sunday, May 3, 2020 at her home.
Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services; the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A memorial for the Raylan Scott College Fund has been established.
Brea was born January 13, 1981 in Morrison, IL, to the late Brent D. and Judi (Bowen) Scott. She was educated in Illinois, then began her adult life in Colorado, and explored the world while living in Germany. She returned to Illinois and discovered her true life purpose of being a loving mother to her son, Raylan Scott. She worked as a general manager at King Soopers Grocery Store in Denver, CO; the CDC in Wiesbaden, Germany, and later at Climco Coils in Morrison. Most recently she worked as a general manager at County Market in Sterling, IL. Brea enjoyed quilting.
Survivors include her parents, Kevin and Judi Buhlman of Lyndon; her son, Raylan Scott, of Lyndon; two sisters, Jamie (Will Maddie) Buhlman of Clinton, IA and Angela (Chris) Sizemore of Kensoha, WI; one brother, Kevin “K.C.” Buhlman Jr. of Clinton, IA; a good friend, Amanda Gerlach.
She was preceded in death by her father, Brent D. Scott; her maternal grandparents, Robert and Grace Bowen.
