Obituary for Brad Lesniewski
BRAD R. LESNIEWSKI, age 68, of Prophetstown, IL, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at CGH Medical Center in Sterling, IL.
Cremation rites will be accorded, and Brad will find his final resting place at Riverside Cemetery in Prophetstown, IL. In lieu of visitation, the family requests that friends keep Brad’s family in their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Memorial contributions may be made in Brad's honor to a charity of your choice.
He was born on March 10, 1955, to Richard and Peggy (Marshall) Lesniewski in Morrison, IL. Brad led a fulfilling life, filled with love and dedication. On October 31, 1980, he married Susan (Bollman) Lesniewski. Together, they shared countless moments of happiness until Susan's passing on January 30, 2006. Later in life Brad started a new journey, marrying Betty Barnes on December 15, 2021 in Morrison, IL. During his working years, Brad was employed by John Deere, where he dedicated many years of hard work until his well-deserved retirement. Outside of work, Brad was passionate about his beloved Minnesota Vikings, and his enthusiasm for the team was truly unmatched. He cheered them on through victories and defeats, exemplifying the spirit of a devoted fan.
Brad is survived by his wife, Betty, his daughters, Brook (Dwayne) Dawson of Savage, MN, and Britt Lesniewski of Stevensville, MD, his grandchildren, Jonah and Chloe Dawson, his sister, Debra (James) Pontnack, and his brothers: Richard (Betty) Lesniewski, David (Karlyn) Lesniewski, Daniel Lesniewski, and Curtis (Judy) Lesniewski.
Brad was preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Susie.
