Obituary for Betty Jo Meinsma
BETTY JO MEINSMA, 64, of 14117 Round Grove Road, Morrison. IL, died Sunday January 13, 2008 at her home. Betty Jo was born December 19, 1943, in Skygusty, WV, to Willie J. and Irene (Poff) Duncan. She graduated from Sterling High School in Sterling, IL. She married Kenneth R. Meinsma on August 2, 1964, in Rock Falls, IL. Betty Jo was employed by Resthave Nursing Home of Morrison, in the housekeeping/laundry department for the past ten years. She was a member of the Brethren in Christ Church in Morrison. She enjoyed reading and the company of friends, family and her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth; her mother, Mrs. Irene Duncan of Rock Falls, IL; four daughters, Laura (Randy) Kramoski of Morrison, IL; Cheryl (Gene) Eyre of Centralia, IL; Pamela (Todd) Workman of Morrison, IL; and Beth (Greg) McLane of Dixon, IL; two sons, Kenneth (Michelle) Meinsma, Jr. of Morrison, IL and Michael Meinsma of Peoria, IL; eleven grandchildren, Rachael and Steven Kramoski; Erin and Rebekah Eyre; Kyle, Seth, and Malerie Workman; Dirk, Derek, Allan and Aydan Meinsma; two sisters, Janice (Tom) Karrow of Sterling, IL and Kathy (Dennis) Jacobs of Byron, IL; four brothers, William Duncan of Rock Falls, IL; Robert (Penny) Duncan of Sterling, IL; Thomas Duncan of Morrison, IL; and Charles (Polly) Duncan of Rock Falls, IL. She was preceded in death by her father and a daughter in infancy.
