Obituary for Betty J. Fellows
BETTY J. FELLOWS, 81, of Four Seasons Living Center, Morrison, IL, died Sunday, August 29, 2010 at the Center. Betty was born November 22, 1928 in Thomson, IL, to Joseph and Rachel (Bennett) Blair. She was educated in the Thomson grade schools and graduated from Thomson High School in 1947. Betty married Robert J. Fellows on September 24, 1948 in Morrison, IL. He died November 8, 1992. She was employed by General Electric in Morrison, then Betty and her husband, Robert co-owned and operated Friendly Fellows Tap in Morrison for 8 years. She was a member of St. Peter"s Lutheran Church in Morrison, the GE Gem Club, Lake View Country Club, and the American Legion Auxiliary. Survivors include one sister, Mary Johnson of Morrison, IL; one brother, William Blair of Morrison, IL; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert; four sisters, Neoma Smith, Dorothy Bennett, Ruth Ballard, and Margaret Blair in infancy; two brothers, Jim and Paul "Bud" Blair.
