Obituary for Audrey Stuart
AUDREY STUART, 87, of Morrison, IL, died Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at MercyOne Medical Center, in Clinton, IA.
There will be a private visitation and funeral service at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home, with Rev. Calvin Haines, Jr. of Morrison United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be at Grove Hill Cemetery in Morrison. A memorial to the Morrison United Methodist Church has been established.
Audrey was born October 7, 1933 in Morrison to Edward and Anna (Beswick) Wells. She was educated in the Greenwood School in rural Whiteside County, and was a graduate of Morrison High School. On February 27, 1953 she married Harvey W. Stuart in Fairhaven, IL; he died March 25, 2001. Audrey lived her entire life on her parents’ farm, later farming alongside her husband, Harvey, and raising their two sons. She was a member of the Morrison United Methodist Church. Audrey loved animals, especially her cats and her beloved dog, Cassie. She enjoyed being outdoors, planting flowers and helping on the farm.
Survivors include one son, Randy (Pat) Stuart of Gainesville, FL, and a life-long dear friend, Donna Bierman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey and one son, David Stuart.
