ANNALENE KOENES, 90, of Fulton, IL died Friday, December 23, 2011 at Harbor Crest Nursing Home, Fulton, IL. Annalene was born February 9, 1921 in McHenry County, Union, IL to Garrett M. and Gertrude (Buikema) Kettler. She attended Fulton, IL schools. Annalene married Henry Koenes on March 29, 1946 in Fulton, IL. He died December 15, 1974. She was employed at the Clinton Garment Company in Clinton, IA, retiring in 1984. Annalene was a member of First Reformed Church in Fulton and enjoyed sewing and crocheting. Survivors include one daughter, Diane (Arvid) Housenga of Fulton, IL; one son, Steven (Jeanne) Koenes of Lino Lakes, MN; four grandchildren, Jodie (Ahmad) Sharifinejad, Craig Koenes, Katie (Mike) Walker, and Michael (Missy) Housenga; two great grandchildren, Mia and Mitchell Housenga; one sister, Winnifred J. Kettler of Fulton, IL; two brothers, Dwight (Margaret) Kettler of Morrison, IL and LeRoy J. (Pauline) Kettler of Dixon, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry; two sisters, Bernice Vannini and Gertrude Kettler; one brother, Paul Kettler; and one brother-in-law, John Vannini.
