Obituary for Chad A. Soenksen
CHAD A. SOENKSEN, 42, of Clinton, IA, died Wednesday April 11, 2018.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home in Fulton, IL. Officiating will be Pastor Jon Booth of Gateway Baptist Church in Clinton. A memorial visitation will be held from 4 PM to 8 PM Monday, April 16, 2018 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Fulton Township Cemetery in Fulton. A memorial has been established by the family.
Chad was born April 8, 1976, in Clinton, IA to Greg A. Soenksen and Jolene A. (Huizenga) Farley. Chad was educated in the Fulton grade schools. He was a standout star athlete and graduate of Fulton High School in 1993. He was an avid sports fan of the Chicago Cubs and Dallas Cowboys. He also enjoyed hunting with Grandpa Bud and fishing with Grandpa Paul.
Survivors include his father, Greg (Debra) Soenksen of Clinton, IA; his mother, Jolene Farley of Clinton, IA; two brothers, Jason (Samantha) Soenksen and Tyler Farley, both of Clinton, IA.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Lorna Huizenga; Henry “Bud” and Katie Soenksen.
