ROSEMARY EARLENE LAYER, 83, of Morrison, IL, died Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Pleasant View Nursing Home, Morrison, IL. Rosemary was born May 15, 1929 in New Albany, IN to Earl and Emily Catherine (Montgomery) Adamson. She was educated in the State Street School in New Albany. She married Jesse Christopher Lowe on May 26, 1946. He died in 1952. She then married Ira Cecil Layer on April 26, 1957. He died on October 11, 1973. She was a homemaker and a member of the Centenary Methodist Church in New Albany, IN. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Connie Fields of Littleton, CO and Brenda (John) Gaffey of Morrison, IL; one son, Ronnie Ray Lowe of Grand Junction, CO; twelve grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and two half brothers. She was preceded in death by her husbands and two grandchildren, Jesse Moss and Teresa Gaffey. Funeral Information
