NELLIE L. REYNOLDS, 94, of Resthave Nursing Home in Morrison, Illinois died Thursday, January 21, 2010 at the nursing home.

Nellie was born on July 12, 1915 in Fort Dodge, IA to Carl and Anna (Barth) Larson. She was educated in the Buffalo Center, IA grade schools and graduated from Buffalo High School in Buffalo Center. She married Omer D. Reynolds on July 28, 1934 in Buffalo Center, IA. He preceded her in death on September 14, 1983. Nellie worked at General Electric Company in Morrison, IL until she retired in 1978. She lived in Garden Plain, IL after moving from Buffalo Center. She was a member of the Fenton United Methodist Church in Fenton, IL where she sang in the choir. She was also a member of the G.E.M. Club at G.E. and enjoyed fishing and gardening.

Survivors include one brother, Richard “Dick” Larson of Morrison, IL; many nieces and nephews, one sister-in-law, Hazel (Walter) Mains of Clinton, IA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Omer and two brothers, Everett and Alvin Larson.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home

OFFICIATING: Rev. Joseph Kim – Pastor of the Fenton United Methodist Church – Fenton, IL

VISITATION: There will be no Visitation – The Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home is in charge of Arrangements

INTERMENT: Fenton Cemetery – Fenton, IL
