BRANDON J. THOMPSON, 26, of Exceptional Care, Sterling, IL, died Wednesday, January 4, 2012, at C.G.H. Medical Center in Sterling, IL.

Brandon was born August 3, 1985 to Jeffrey L. Thompson and Debra K. Wiersema in Waukegan, IL. He was educated at Senior High School in Dubuque, IA. Brandon was an avid Dallas Cowboys Football Fan and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Throughout his life he greatly enriched the lives of others. Brandon will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

Survivors include his mother, Deb (Alan) Christopher of Fulton, IL; his father, Jeff (Cheryl) Thompson of Camanche, IA; two sisters, Jami (Andy) Luett and Sarah Christopher, both of Clinton, IA, one step brother, Robert Grimes of Camanche, IA; grandparents, Bill Wiersema of Fulton, IL, Martha Little of Baird, TX, Alline Fine of Baird, TX, Etta Mae Thompson of Camanche, IA.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Bonnie Wiersema, Morgan Fine, Dale Little, Orren Thompson, Robert and Lillian Nicholson.

OFFICIATING: Rev. Scott Stephan – Pastor: Second Reformed Church, Fulton, IL

VISITATION: 6:00 – 8:00 PM Friday – January 6, 2012 at the Fulton Chapel, Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home
