IRWIN N. LARSON, 90, of 704 Coralyn Drive, Morrison, IL, died Thursday, August 26, 2010 at CGH Medical Center, Sterling, IL. Irwin was born November 24, 1919 in Morrison, IL, to Nels and Nannie (Nelson) Larson. He was educated in the rural Whiteside County Schools. Irwin married Lois L. Durward on June 10, 1942 in Morrison. She died December 11, 1987. Irwin farmed in the rural Morrison area and was a rural letter carrier in Morrison. He was a member of Bethesda Lutheran Church, a member of the Whiteside County Farm Bureau, and a member of the Odd Fellows, all of Morrison. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed the outdoors and hunting. Survivors include one daughter, Peggy Larson of Spring City, TN; one son, Vern (Barb) Larson of Morrison, IL; four grandchildren, Jim Lehman, Candy Larson, Nikki (Tom) Jenkins, and Chad Larson; three great grandchildren, Skylar Lehman, Kaiden Jenkins, and Jace Jenkins; one step grandchild, Heather (Nick) Bramm. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois; one great granddaughter, Taylor Lehman; one sister in infancy; two brothers, Paul and Kenneth Larson. Funeral Information
