MARY ANN PRESTLEY, 74, of the Alverno Health Care Facility in Clinton, IA died on Wed. June 20, 2012 at the facility. Mary Ann was born February 11, 1938, in Clinton, IA, to Lennard and Virginia (Striley) Kair. She was educated in the Clinton, IA grade schools and graduated from Clinton High School. She married Vernon D. “Johnnie” Prestley on October 7, 1960 in Clinton. He died March 7, 2002. Mary Ann, along with her husband Johnnie, owned and operated Johnnies Tap, Fulton, IL, for thirty-five years. She enjoyed bowling and was on a women’s shuffle board team and also volunteered at the Fulton Elementary School. She was an avid Cubs fan, and she loved her cat, Frances, aka “Miss Kitty”. Survivors include one daughter, Paula (David) Ensinger of Fulton, IL; one son, John (Mary) Prestley of Appleton, WI; four grandchildren, Jennifer (fiancé Devin DeSutter) Ensinger, Janessa Ensinger, Brian and Jackson Prestley; one brother, Dennis (Carol) Kair of Clinton, IA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie; one sister, Linda Wilke; one brother, Ronnie Kair. Funeral Information
