You've taken your wings,
Soaring to the heavens,
Not a care do you have,
Your eyes on your Maker.
Your troubles are over,
No sorrow or fear,
The angels are with you,
As you walk the streets of gold.
Though in body you're gone,
Your spirit will always abide,
Like a shining light, a ray of hope,
Ever present in our hearts.
