Your mom was such a sweetheart. I enjoyed time we spent together with my folks and Sikkemas. They held me up through some tough personal times.

Sorry to hear about your Mom's passing. Hope it brings you peace knowing your Mon and Dad ate together again and still watching over you.

Dear Joan's family,
We were fortunate to know your mom and dad through Marilyn Carlson, our daughter's mother-in-law. We enjoyed spending time with them and laughing at your dad's jokes. You mom was delightful, a wonderful lady and will be missed.

To Joan's Family (& Mary Jo--a fellow Class of '64 member!): I was so saddened to hear of Joan's passing. I had gotten to know her at Resthave where I led a Bible Study once a month. Joan was present and what a blessing she was as she would share and read God's Word. I will miss her smiling face and positive words. I also had the privilege of doing a Teacup Visit with her with two other ladies. My, we chatted and shared memories with her for an afternoon last summer. We also read God's Word, prayed and sang a hymn, "The Old Rugged Cross" together at the end of the visit. She was a such lovely lady, inside and out! I know she will be missed by your family and her circle of friends. But our loss is Heaven's gain. May God bless you, Mary Jo, and your entire family during this sad time of loss. I will be praying for all of you. Sincerely, Pat Pessman

So sorry to hear of Joan's passing. I have enjoyed doing her hair while she was at Resthave. She was so proud of her family. May you feel God's presence in a very special way during this time.

I just wanted to express my sympathy at your Mom's passing. She (and your dad) were always so nice to me at church, and I just adored your mom's laughter. I hope you are comforted today and in the coming weeks, knowing they're together again!
